Bechtel Jacobs Company LLC is the environmental management contractor for the U. S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge Office, located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. It is working under an accelerated scheduled to complete cleanup in Oak Ridge quicker and at less cost than originally anticipated. The company is responsible for environmental cleanup and waste management on DOE's Oak Ridge Reservation. Bechtel Jacobs Company also supports DOE in a reindustrialization program to find commercial uses for many Oak Ridge facilities that no longer have a mission.
