BJC NOVEMBER BJCEC MOVIE DATE AT THE RITZ
To All BJC and BJC Subcontractor Employees:
Our first movie day at the Ritz was a success with approximately 105
people in attendance. We showed the movie Shark Tale. It was No. 1 at the
box office and was a treat for all who attended.
Our next movie day at the Ritz is planned for Saturday, November 13, 10:00 a.m. and we are showing Polar Express. The Polar Express movie preview:
Based upon the popular holiday novel by Chris Van Allsburg, "The Polar Express" asks the child in all of us whether or not we believe in Santa Claus. For one young boy, holding onto this belief becomes more and more difficult as his friends and family all insist that Santa is make-believe. But late on Christmas Eve, a mysterious steam engine pulls up in front of the boy's home and takes him on a magical journey to the North Pole.
"The Polar Express" is an animated film that pushes the boundaries of digital photo-realism. The animation is based on a live-action motion capture process, where real actors (including Tom Hanks, who voices several characters in the film) perform and are then animated through computers.
Tickets will be $2.50 each for employee club members.
Our plan is to always show family-oriented, first-run movies. The cost is half of what you pay at the regular matinee price so this is a great deal. If you are not an employee club member you can join for $10. This membership will be valid until December 2005.
The employee club is also planning a trip to Biltmore before Christmas. These are just a couple of the activities planned for November & December.
