Bechtel Jacobs Company is sponsoring an Angel Tree program similar to those in surrounding communities. Last year at ETTP, more than 1,300 gifts were purchased/donated for underprivileged children in the area. Names of children will be requested from the Department of Human Services in Knox, Anderson, Roane (including Dyllis Elementary School), Loudon, Union, Claiborne, and Morgan counties. Participation in this holiday project is strictly voluntary. Other agencies, tenants, or subcontractors are invited to participate, if interested.
The 2004 Angel Tree list of children is now available. Names from Anderson, Claiborne, Loudon, Morgan, and Roane counties are currently available, and names will soon be added for Knox and Union counties.
