ES&H Notice

Bechtel Jacobs Company LLC (BJC) no longer accepts Environment Safety and Health (ES&H) Pre-qualification Packages from potential subcontractors prior to procurement actions.

Companies selected to participate in the BJC Procurement process will be asked to provide the appropriate ES&H Qualification data prior to receiving an RFP or will be asked to complete the ES&H Qualification data as a part of the RFP.

BJC requires their Subcontractors, Sub-tier Subcontractors and Teaming Partners, who work on BJC managed sites, to meet the same ES&H Qualification requirements.

BJC ES&H Qualification Expectations

The Company must have an average Experience Modification Rate (EMR), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Recordable and Lost Workday case rates of 1.0, 3.2, and 0.64 respectively, or less for the previous three (3) years.

The Company has had No willful citations from OSHA or other regulatory organization during the previous three (3) years.

The Company received No citations, other than those determined to minor violations, or fines for Price-Anderson Amendments Act (PAAA) non-compliance during the previous three (3) years.

The Company received No fines for Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) non-compliance during the previous three (3) years.

The Company received No citations by a federal or state agency for violations of an environmental regulatory requirement during the previous three (3) years.
