Important Notice to all of the Department of Energy's current
and
prospective contractors:
The requirement to register with the Government's Central
Contractor
Registration (CCR) database
is contained in Federal Acquisition Circular
(FAC) 2001-016, issued on
October 1, 2003. This amended the Federal
Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
to require contractor registration in the CCR
prior to the award of any
contract, basic agreement, basic ordering
agreement, or blanket
purchase agreement issued on or after October 1,
2003. This requirement
applies to new awards and modifications to existing
awards from all Federal
Agencies.
The complete text of the FAC can be found at:
http://www.acqnet.gov/far/FAC/fac2001-16.pdf
You must register in the CCR now, if you have not already done
so, if you
wish to continue to receive
future awards or orders from the Department of
Energy (DOE) or any other
Federal Agency.
The web site address to register with the CCR is:
http://www.ccr.gov/
There is no charge to you for registering with the CCR.
Note that you will
be instructed at the CCR web
site on how to obtain a DUNS number if you do
not already have one.
You must obtain a DUNS number in order to register
at the CCR.
Also, at your convenience, please verify that your DOE IIPS
