Waste Receipt and Study Protocol

The Waste Receipt and Study Protocol was developed and executed by the DOE Oak Ridge Office and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) in 1997. The protocol was intended to provide a framework for State and public review of information about off-site waste planned for treatment at the TSCA Incinerator. Specific information required by the protocol for individual off-site waste streams is placed in the DOE Public Reading Room and the Information Resource Center in Oak Ridge at the same time it is provided to the TDEC.
